Dear Residents of Monroe Township,

The Monroe Township Volunteer Fire Co. #1 is primarily a volunteer organization supplemented Monday through Friday with two daytime career firefighters. We provide 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, 100% uninterrupted fire and life safety protection for the Township of Monroe. Your donations have allowed us to upgrade and maintain the fleet while keeping our life safety equipment up to date. MTVFC #1 is proud that we have been able to fulfill our mission of protecting the residents of Monroe Township while maintaining our tax rate with no increases.

MTVFC #1 has responded to 464 calls for the calendar year of 2022. We answer a wide variety of calls ranging from structure fires, motor vehicle fires/ accidents, carbon monoxide alarms, electrical emergencies, brush fires and emergency medical assists.  MTVFC #1 has specialized training in advanced rescue techniques for confined space, high angle rescue, trench rescue, standing / swift water rescue, rapid intervention team, and advanced extrication. Our members are additionally trained in CPR, AED, Narcan, epi pen administration, and we also have members that are certified emergency medical technicians. MTVFC #1 continues to be there for you in your time of need. Any donation you can make in support of our organization, so that we can continue to provide 24/7 service to our residents would be greatly appreciated.
